    Athanasios Sarakatsanis (short “Sakis”) is founder and partner of K&P Strategy Consultants and advises corporate clients and private equity investors on M&A transactions, digital strategies and subsequent implementation.

    With more than 20 years of experience with mid-sized and international group companies, he has excellent knowledge in strategy and implementation projects focusing on IT, software and digitalization in a variety of industries, especially TMT, Business Services and Consumer Goods & Retail.

    His content focus includes tech/IT, digital and operational due diligence consulting, digital strategy development as well as operations and process management in digital implementation projects – especially in the PMI phase – for private equity portfolio companies and corporations.

    Prior to founding K&P Strategy Consultants, Sakis was Client Partner at NTT DATA and fully responsible for key accounts in the TMT sector. Prior to that, he served on the board of directors of an IT consultancy, where he was responsible for international PMI projects and managed numerous due diligence projects. In addition, Sakis was active as an entrepreneur and was co-founder and managing director of an IT consultancy specializing in SAP, where he continued to be responsible for the portfolio company in the area of product development after its successful establishment and later acquisition by a private equity investor. Sakis began his career as an independent IT consultant, working for various companies in the telecommunications, IT services, insurance, automotive, mobility services, retail and e-commerce industries.

    Sakis studied computer science and economics at the Technical University of Munich and completed his Executive MBA studies with distinction at Henley Business School in the UK.
