Dr. Sigurd Kitzer is founder, partner and CEO of K&P Strategy Consultants and advises private equity investors and corporate clients on strategy development, M&A transactions and value creation programs.

With more than 20 years of experience in strategy consulting, he has extensive expertise in strategic market, competitive and industry analysis as well as strategy development in a wide range of industries, especially healthcare, business services and consumer goods.

His substantive focus includes strategy and transaction consulting, buy-side and sell-side due diligence, and enterprise value enhancement programs for private equity portfolio companies, middle-market companies, and corporations.

Sigurd has built a significant track record in his consulting career, leading more than 300 transactional and commercial due diligence reviews and executing over 100 strategy and value creation projects.

Prior to founding K&P Strategy Consultants, Sigurd founded and built up the private equity consulting division at strategy consultancy goetzpartners and led it as a partner. Prior to that, he was a management consultant at Rothgordt & Cie, a Bain spin-off for transaction consulting, strategy and M&A, as well as at other consulting firms focusing on the healthcare sector. In addition, Sigurd was responsible for the strategic development of portfolio companies at Dr. Flick Privatstiftung and held operational line management positions in industry for more than 8 years.

Sigurd studied business administration at the Leopold-Franzens-University in Innsbruck, where he also received his PhD in economics in the field of healthcare economics.
